Brand voice generator

ScriptGrain is an AI content writing tool that matches your brand voice by measuring it from writing you have already published, rather than asking you to guess at it. Give it a sample and it extracts 45 attributes across eight layers: lexical choices, sentence syntax, tone and register, rhetorical structure, punctuation and format, function words, content patterns, and quirks and cadence.

Every piece of marketing content it drafts afterwards is scored against that profile, so you know whether it actually sounds like you.

Stop describing your brand voice. Start measuring it.

"Bold, friendly, authentic" describes nothing. It is not enforceable, it is not repeatable, and no two writers (or AI models) will interpret it the same way twice.

The adjective problem

Here's the thing about most brand voice tools: you answer three questions, they generate a paragraph full of words like "confident" and "approachable", and then what? You paste that paragraph into a prompt and hope. Nobody can check whether a piece of copy actually matches "confident but warm". There's no measurement, so there's no enforcement. Fair enough as a vibe exercise. Useless as a working standard.

ScriptGrain does the opposite. We don't ask you to describe your voice. We measure it, from writing you've already published.

How it works

1. Upload real samples

Your blog posts, emails, product copy, whatever's already in your voice. No forms, no adjective quizzes.

2. Two-pass stylometric analysis

We run your writing through a two-pass process that measures 45 attributes across lexical choices, sentence structure, tone, rhetorical patterns, punctuation habits, function words, and the quirks that are genuinely yours (that semicolon habit, the way you open paragraphs, your contraction rate).

3. A profile, not a paragraph

You get 45 measured attributes plus a narrative summary explaining what they mean and why they matter. Measured. Specific. Yours.

What you actually get

Attribute cards you can read, not overwrite

Every measured attribute sits on its own card, with the number and what it means in practice. The measurements are read-only by design: hand-editing them would detach the profile from what was actually measured, which is the whole point of measuring. Two curated lists, your preferred words and your filler phrases, stay hand-editable on a paid plan.

A voice-match score on every draft

Every piece you generate is scored against the profile, so "does this sound like us" stops being an opinion.

Content generated in your actual voice

Not "in a professional tone." In your measured, specific, repeatable voice.

Who this is for

Marketers writing at volume who need consistency across five people and one voice. Founders who are the brand voice and need it to survive delegation. Agencies managing multiple client voices without them all sounding the same by Tuesday.

If you've ever read AI output and thought "technically fine, sounds like nobody", this is for you.

One profile. One full analysis. No card required.

To be fair, measuring it is the easy part; the real value is generating in it. That's the paid bit: plans start at £12/month for one profile (Writer), up to £299 for unlimited profiles and ten team seats (Agency). Operator and Studio sit in between, for three profiles or ten.

Questions

How is this different from a brand voice tool that asks you to pick adjectives?

Those tools ask you to describe your voice. ScriptGrain measures it. An adjective like "bold" means something different to every reader and close to nothing to a language model, whereas a contraction rate or a comma density means the same thing every time it is checked. The adjective approach relies on your self-perception being accurate. The measurement approach does not need it to be.

Can I edit the attributes ScriptGrain measures from my writing?

No, and that is deliberate. The 45 measured attributes are read-only, so your profile cannot drift away from what you actually wrote. What you can edit, on a paid plan, are two curated lists: your preferred words and your filler phrases. Everything else stays locked to the evidence.

What kinds of content can ScriptGrain write?

Sixteen content types, from long-form articles and newsletters through to LinkedIn posts, emails, ad copy and website pages. Eight of the sixteen generate an outline first, which you approve before the draft is written, so the structure is settled before your voice is applied to it. The rest go straight to a draft.

What does it cost to try it?

Nothing to start. The free plan includes one voice profile, one full analysis across all 45 reference points, and one free draft, once, for the life of the account, plus API and MCP access. No card is required. Paid plans start at Writer on £12 a month if you want more.
