Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 September 2026

1. Overview

ScriptGrain is operated by Adapt Progress Evolve Limited ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10047328, registered office 5 Brayford Square, London E1 0SG, VAT GB362654684). By accessing or using ScriptGrain at scriptgrain.com ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account or allow unauthorised access. Notify us immediately at support@scriptgrain.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

Connected AI assistants. You may connect ScriptGrain to a third-party AI assistant or other software through our API or MCP server. Actions taken through a connection you have approved, including creating profiles and generating drafts that consume credits, are treated as your own. You are responsible for the assistants you connect and for revoking access you no longer want (Settings, API tab). The provider of a connected assistant is not our subcontractor; its handling of anything it retrieves from ScriptGrain is governed by its own terms.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of all writing samples and content you upload to ScriptGrain. By uploading content, you grant us a limited licence to process and analyse it solely for the purpose of generating your voice profile and content. We do not sell, share, or use your content for any other purpose. The third-party providers we rely on to process data on your behalf are listed in our Privacy Policy.

5. Generated Content

Content generated by ScriptGrain using your voice profile belongs to you. You may use generated content for any lawful purpose. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, originality, or suitability of generated content.

6. Payments & Subscriptions

Paid plans (Writer, Operator, Studio, and Agency) are recurring subscriptions billed via Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle. You may cancel at any time from the Settings page; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are described in section 8.

7. Customers Outside the United Kingdom

ScriptGrain is sold in two editions. Prices are shown in the currency of the market you are in: pounds sterling on the UK edition and US dollars on the US edition. Prices in pounds include UK VAT. Prices in US dollars are shown exclusive of tax; any sales tax or similar charge that applies where you are is added at checkout only where we are registered to collect it, and is shown before you pay.

Each account is billed in one currency, fixed by its first subscription, because our payment provider keeps a customer to a single currency. Top-ups and plan changes are billed in that same currency. If you need to change currency, contact support@scriptgrain.com and we will move you to a new billing account.

8. Refunds

You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. If you are unhappy with a new subscription, tell us within 14 days of the first payment and we will refund that payment in full, less the value of any credits you have used. This applies to your first subscription payment only, not to renewals, plan upgrades or top-ups, which are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. Nothing in this section affects any rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country you live in. To request a refund, email support@scriptgrain.com.

9. Top-Up Credits

Some plans let you buy top-up credit packs. Top-ups are one-off purchases, not subscriptions: they never expire, and they are spent only after your monthly plan credits run out. Top-up purchases are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. Credits have no cash value and are removed if your account is deleted.

10. Team & Organisation Accounts

Some plans include a team workspace. The workspace owner controls it: they manage the subscription, seats, member roles, and member removal. Content shared with a team workspace is visible to every member of that workspace, so only share what you are happy for your team to see. Team seats are billed through Stripe as part of the team subscription, and seat changes are prorated by Stripe in the usual way.

11. Acceptable Use

12. Service Availability

We aim to keep ScriptGrain available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice.

13. Limitation of Liability

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
