What ScriptGrain does, in four steps

  1. Add writing you have already done: paste it, upload files, or import from a URL. One piece is enough to start; 3,000+ words across several samples works best.
  2. Get measured: a two-pass analysis reads each sample individually, then synthesises one voice profile covering 45 reference points, from vocabulary and sentence rhythm to punctuation habits and the words you reach for without noticing. About 45 seconds.
  3. Generate from briefs: describe what you need, and every draft is written under the profile's constraints, across sixteen content types.
  4. See the score: every draft returns a voice-match score measured against your profile, and a polish loop revises toward your voice when the score falls short.

What makes it different

ChatGPT custom instructions capture a handful of stated preferences. ScriptGrain measures what you actually do: contraction rate, parenthetical frequency, clause ordering, opening style, the words you unconsciously reach for, all from your real writing. On identical briefs, drafts from a measured profile beat the same frontier model running bare at sounding like the intended voice: the Journal published the full test, with the sentence-length, contraction and punctuation shifts quantified.
